He cracks me up. Children tend to remember me and realize that this is gonna be painless! LOL and this was my second session with this adorable guy and my first session meeting his baby brother. Apparently, the baby is use to a big brother cause he slept through our entire session at the Loft. I really dig the boys!!!

Oh my goodness she was the sweetest squishy’est little thing! We shot her newborn photo session at the Loft near Charlotte NC. I have parents come about 30 min early to feed their babies so we have a full tummy hence, a sleepy baby. Mr Sandman bring me a dream……la..la..la…well she slept the entire time! We moved through her baby photo session in about two hrs……fabulous. Miss S you truly are a dream!

The woods are enchanting and magical at the time before the sun drops behind the horizon and that golden light bathes your subject. I am usually leaving the woods at dark when I shoot these sessions.

This guy is true cowboy, down to his boots that are not pictured here….:) I really like to capture children how they are every day and this would have been true to life for me and so many moms of boys. Unlike girls who want to dress themselves in ruffles and adorable dresses, boys seem to NOT want to get dressed. To run around in their undies, is an everyday thing and one that will fade all to soon. I think it’s great to hold onto those memories with portraits. I know my sweet boy loved to pretend he was a super hero with a towel tied around his neck. Every morning he chose a different color towel. Sigh……..now if I could get him to take a shower for longer than 3 min……this too will pass….

I can hardly believe this guy is 1 yr old! I met his mom and dad when we shot their maternity session and right away I knew this kid was gonna be adorable! He has his dad’s blue eyes with his mom’s gorgeous, huge, disney princess eyes. He was the littlest thing when I met him for his newborn session, he certainly has grown! He wasn’t quite sure of the cake however it didnt take long for him to begin to play in it.I am thrilled that I was able to shoot his cake~smash and spend the morning with these BLUE eyes!

Sweet Baby Boy | Charlotte NC Photographer

I met this gorgeous family on a rainy, wet, yucky Charlotte NC morning…..BUT this little fellow brighten my day quickly! Full of giggles and grins, he made the photo session as easy as pie! His grin was just infectious and I had to keep telling myself…. “don’t kiss this baby….don’t kiss this baby!” He was just so dang adorable and squishy. I could have spent the whole day with him. He however at the end of our session was ready to snuggle with his mom and dad for a nap. Maybe next time I will get that kiss, .
